World Leadership Forum - Daniel Reategui

My name is Daniel Reategui Angel,
I am twelve years old and I am honored to be nominated and invited to participate in the International World Leadership Forum in Washington DC. This forum, held by the People to People Foundation (founded by President Dwight D. Eisenhower to promote world peace and understanding) is reserved for the world's top 5-8 graders. The program invites these select students to venture to the United States capital and study the country's most powerful leaders and enjoy up close and personal access to America's top government leaders and renowned public speakers.

It will be an extraordinary opportunity to represent my country, my state, my county and also the future of our nation. I will be exposed to the worlds top students in studying our nation's history and learn to appreciate and respect the leaders that helped found our great nation and the principals which it represents. I will also have the opportunity to meet some of the country's most prominent leaders.

In this time of change, it is very important for us, the new generation, the future leaders of America, to learn the skills to lead us and have a solid foundation for our future. To be able to take advantage of this opportunity I need your support. From this experience I am determined to walk away with better leadership skills, a more focused sense of guidance to help better our community and our nation. My appreciation to my supporters will be my vow to be a worthy representative of our community and my vow to use my skills to better myself with the hope of being able to have a positive impact on our community.

I will be maintaining a journal of my daily events and experiences and a chronicle of the entire forum. My sponsors will receive a personalized bound copy of my illustrated journal and the gratitude of a young man aspiring to be one of the future leaders of America.
